Hi all, i have a problem with signal board DI4x24VDC 200kHz (order numb. 6ES7221-3BD30-0XB0). There is no option in STEP 7 Basic to make this Signal board to work on 200kHz. Signal board work only on 30kHz. ( Picture "Signal Board 200kHz" in attachment) I read in manual for S7-1200 that CPU1214 have 6 High-speed counter (3x30kHz and 3x100kHz). This mean that CPU has a limit on 100kHz and CPU can not accept 200kHZ from Signal board ???? (Picture "CPU1214 High-speed counters"in attachment) Best regards gaspar AttachmentSignal board.zip (723 Downloads) |

Hello the CPU specification seems to only list the HSC capabilty when the onboard I/O's are used (and will hopefully be updated to alsoshow the capability whenHSC's are assigned to Signalboards I/O's). For now you'll find some a good HSC capability overview in the link below which shows that 200kHz is supported with your Signal board: How many high-speed counters (HSCs) are provided by the SIMATIC S7-1200 PLC? I can't explain though why the HSC speed is listed as only 30 KHz in the properties of your actual configuration, perhaps others have an explanation for this (it could also be simply an "undocumented feature" that will be fixed with the next version or Service Pack). I hope this helps |
