i learn about the controller but i dont understand the signal board what is that? i will like a simple explan thanks..

Hello boaz; On the S7-1200 CPU itself there is a slot where you can install a single signal board (SB)or communication board (CB), independantly of the I/O and CM modules that can be mounted to the right or left of the CPU. The SBs come in a variety of digital or analog configurations.You can find a descrption of the SB installation in the Systyem Manual for the S7-1200, along with datasheets for them in the Appendix: SIMATIC S7 S7-1200 Programmable controller Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
