SIMOREG and UPS, possible?

Is it possible to use Digital UPS System EMERSON NXA 200 kVA in conjunction with SIMOREG MASTER DC type 6RA7 085-6DV62-0 to prevent against supply line fluctuation or short time blackout? Motor is 158kW. UPS Units will work paralelle operation. Menas Total apperant power will be 400 kVA and real power is 320 kW. 5 min work with full power. As I know, thyristor bridge is synchronized directly to the mains. So a short power outage will cause activation of thyritor protective system, and consequently stop the drive with alarm message. Does the UPS is able to prevent that situation? Does the drive have any parameters allow to 10ms power failure? with regards rudzin

KSN Platinum Expert Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2024 Posts: 2211 Rating: (280)	Hello. Look at the manual of 6RA70, description of fault F006, parameters P086 and P361. Here you can set desired time delays. Also read chapter 9.17 Automatic restart. May be this can help you.
