Hello, Please refer the manual, chapter start up. As explained enter motor data in respective parameters, carry out optimisation & check. |

Is it the same problem which you posted here? Have you conducted optimisation as explained in manual? Have you checked the field current? Is it as per rated name plate? Does motor runs in field weakening mode? Upto how much % set point motor runs smoothly or the armature current varies the movment start signal is applied? How you have checked the tacho? Have you checked the ripple containts in DC out put? Please try by changing speed fedback from tacho to emf mode & check, if the motor runs smoothly upto base speed. Please provide clear information so that forum members can understand your problem & correct solution can be provided. HTH. |

hi thanks for your support no this problem solved by reworking the commutator ring, yes and motor parameters change slightly and P826 Correction of natural commutation timing changed from 7 to 2 the field current was checked and it was about 6.4 A which 100% of rated armature current , the motor does not run in field weakening range and the associated parameter is deactivated the fluctuating exist at every speed even though slow speeds the tacho feedback is almost true I check with physical tacho meter connected to motor shaft and the speed recorded was correct also there is no deference between the actual speed and the feedback speed how to change speed feedback to EMF does we need any new wiring or the drive used the calculated EMF to measure speed ? I will check the ripple and go back to you some notes should be highlighted 1- this case happening in three identical DC drives which each drive Siemens motor of 250 KW 2- in all the drive the motor status keep changing from torque direction one to No torque , I think the current irregularity is caused by this issue because when the torque direction change the armature current start to decay to zero and when hit the zero point start to increase again , what does torque direction change mean? and from where the request come 3- I Set P162 = 0 and P163 = 1 Perform thyristor test as recommended in FAQ and nothing change 4- same up normal noise from the three motors when it drive by our drive but when we test it with open loop control using fixed voltage to Armature and field circuit , no up normal sound neither Armature current irregularity 5- all motors run without load , does loading the motor will change the response ? please help me I about to start dreaming with this issue hehehehe

Not clear what you want to say. In above post you mentioned your problem is solved by reworking commutator ring. Is it correct?

Thanks again, the problem of irregular current still exists, but the problem of sparking solved by remaking the commutator |
