veer dr Regular Member Joined: 7/21/2013 Last visit: 9/8/2022 Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Dear experts , i am having SIMOTIC 1FK7105-2AF71-1UH0 and 1FT7132-5SF74-1NG0 servo motor ,i am trying to find manual for resolver AND encoder to study resolver actual specification like dimensions and electrical signal . one more thing ,can we replace the existing resolver to new and other make with same specifications ?? could you please help me out to find the full detailed manual. thanks

Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 5935 Rating: (815)	Hello veer dr, you can find encoder information in the corresponding motor configuration manual: 1FK7: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/55379345 Encoder information in chapter 4.1.2 1FT7: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/109482538 Encoder information in chapter 3.1.2 The replacability of an encoder could be checked with the following manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/99457853 Here you can read that you cannot replace a resolver. Dimension sheets for the encoders on their own aren't available.
