Simultaneous Profibus and Modbus TCP/IP communication with PAC 3200 ?

I feel it is not possible but just hoping against hope... This way I can read fast parameters through Profibus and rest through Modbus TCP/IP !! Thanks Navnag

Valli Posts: 262 Rating: (45)	Hi, You should use PAC 4200 for this. We are using in a Cement Plant where in PAC 4200 is giving same data/ same time toS-400CPU @ profibus and same data/ same time to Powermanager over ethernet ( MODBUS TCP/IP). PAC 4200 supports 3 masters at a time. Its IP can be polled by 3 systems individually or you can use 3 different protocol say profibus/ MODBUS TCP/ MODBUS RTU ( with expansion module).

Yes, it is possible to do a connection with PAC3200 integrated MODBUS TCP and PROFIBUS module simultaneously. If you update the PAC3200 firmware to 2.3.5 a new feature of this firmware is to do 2 connections by MODBUS TCP and one connection by PROFIBUS simultaneously. best regards your technical support
