OPeter Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, I am working on a SINAMICS project and now we have the commissioning phase I have following problems : SINAMICS system time : when a fault happens, the time is monitored and displayed in the fault window. how can the stored fault time be related to the time "now"? In which Parameter is the time displayed? What is the meaning of the time? When is it set? Which scale does it have? Does anybody have an excel file where the time (in seconds) is transalted into Hours etc. to get the time-difference from now to the fault event? appreciate any help XiaoTang

When you use the SINAMICS with CPU you can synchronize the systemtime of SINAMICS to UTC time, so you get correct time values. Regards Christoph

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 3/20/2023 Posts: 21352 Rating: (2819)	Hello, parameters in Sinamics are p3100 and p3101.1/p3101.0. p3100 to activate the UTC mode and p3101.1/.0 for the time values in UTC format from PLC. If i have a SIMOTION PLC above then i use the functions _writedriveparameter and _writedriivemultiparameter. With a SIMATIC PLC above i use the SFC's 58 and 59 Regards Christoph

ms... Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	I changed p3100 from 0 to 1, but the Sinamics alarms still appeared to be stampedin elapsed time format instead of time of day format. What else must be done to accomplish this change? Thanks, ms...

After PING occurrs the system use the values of p3101 and stamp messages with UTC time. Regards Christoph

From Simotion D445 program, how do I access the date and time, and what values go into each of the p3101.0 and p3101.1 parameters? Can this be done from either a script or an ST program? Set the telegramtype from the ControlUnit to 39x. You must use the logical adresses for the Controlunit from your projectan change it in the program.
