SIWAREX U backplane connector schematics

alin_dobrescu Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi! I intend to use a SIWAREX U as stand alone and I need to provide +5V DC on the backplane connector. My problem is that I can't find any docs about this backplane connector pins so I don't know which of them is the +5V DC input. Can somebody help? Thx, Alin

dchartier Grandmaster Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 12294 Rating: (2691)	Hello Alin; To provide both the 24 V and 5 V required to use the Siwarex U as a standalone unit, Siemens strongly suggests you set it up with a ET 200M interface (that would imply IM 153-2 +PS +rail and bus connector); see the following FAQ discussing different Siwarexmodules as standalone units: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/10183487 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
