Hi Tekabi, Did you test this when you generate module drivers if the amount of communication jobs increase? Because only instance blocks using ALARM_8P, BSEND/BRECV, PUT/GET etc. will increase the communication jobs... To answer your question: No you cannot select specific charts to generate drivers. A way to do this is to assign the hardware address to a custom block and then connect to your driver block. Module drivers will find problems when compiling, but you can do this on selective basis. Take into account that you need to set the Mode manually in order not to create errors. Please test this, to make sure it works. But driver blocks should not increase communication jobs I believe... |

Dear Tekabi, I give you an idea. If you do not want to generate module driver, it means, you do not need to driver block/module blocks to provide you with extra diagnostic information. So, you could drag a "Or" block (example), connect your hardware symbol address, and link it to your execution blocks directly. Eg. Connecting I 0.0 to Or block, and link it to your blocks. The disadvantage is, you do not have the module information for this I0.0 anymore. What is the I0.0 wire break? Then, you do not have the "BAD" status for you to display it on HMI. Hope it helps. |
