start the control recipe button in batchcc

TechnoBlaze Posts: 198 Rating: (60)	Hello Ashadako, There is no explicit method of restriction possible for disabling the starting of a batch except for specific permissions management (roles settings) and also the release to test/production principle. Ideally, it is the duty of the operator to align the process to the requirement of the planned Batch (setting to auto, feeding prestart setpoints if required etc.). However, you may consider using SFC controls like SFC Multichart Control and configure several SFC to the OCX control in WinCC and perform basic functions like start/stop/abort/hold and auto/manual changeover and check multiple SFC's at a single place.

Siemens has integrated some blocks of the former Braumat library into the IL. With it, a block called: BatchIf is added. This blocks lets you create batches from the automation program. You can create a batch / create and release a batch / create, release and start the batch or start the next batch in line. You can configure the block with a recipe name/version, enter Order category, add parameters and materials etc. Maybe this is useful to you? If not, another option is to create batches using the API interface, but this requires programming skill and extra license. Otherwise, you have to stick to the role management...
