Status word in SCL

Normaly you don't have to worry about the Status-word because SCL handle's it for you. EN and ENO is possible. If you want to evaluate the status-word from a certain position in your AWL-code(STL) you can store it and give it to your SCL-code via a INPUT parameter, then you can use it. Heut,

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Heut is right - for most of cases you just dont need it. RLO is used is SCL internally by IF statement, := for bits and so on. Think FC, OR and STA bits are not important to you ^) BR bit can be replaced by EN/ENO. CC0 and CC1 are bits from substraction/comparasion. These bits can be written on executing with "<" statement. OV and OS you really have to check for - usually it's done by input variable validation. Of course if you need 2476 to power 12 you should use floating point or check numbers 2476 and 12.

The OK flag is used to indicate the correct or incorrect execution of a block. May be that could be useful in you application. See the SCL Help, contends, search, topic "Flags (OK Flag)"
