TI505 (CP1434) Comm with S7-300 /S7-400 (IE/PB Link Moduled)

Lex Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	For the TI505 it. I used CPU TI545-1102. And CP1434H1. I used for the S7-300 CPU317-2DP. And 6GK1 411-5AA0 (Ethernet / Profibus Gateway). I have attached a Config. Please advice me. Ragards, Alex Attachment Config.gif (734 Downloads)

billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (117)	The Diagram doesn't make use of the IE PB, you could remove it without impacting the system. The CP1434 H1 and the 343-1 IT modules can both speak ISO protocol. I will follow up with mor later billwest

Lex Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Dear billwest, The exiting system is used S7-317-2DP, and can't be to stop or shutdown for change anothers configuration, i must be to used IE/PB as Gateway mode for forwad data from CP1434H1 (TI505-1102CPU) i not be sure this solution is posibled or not? billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (117)	I have attached the IE/PB manual. In reviewing the manual, it doesn't preclude connecting a 505 CPU with the ISO protthe CPU to stopocol. I just don't see a mechanism for getting or putting data from the 505 on the S7300 through Profibus without making changes to the S7-300 program. In the S7 PLC you will configure the TI505 as a Profibus slave. You can use up to 110 words Data in + 110 words data out for communication. No need for IEPN adapter. Regards, Carlo
