TIA V11 vs TIA V12

Do you recomend to upgrade from V11 to V12? Hello Saurius, First it depends on the hardware you use. What hardware do you use currently? Say for instatnce S7-1500 will be supported in TIA Portal v12 onwards. Similarlly new hardwares is supposed to get integrated in v12 rather than v11. In general TIA Portal v12 is the successor of TIA Portal v11 also an excerpt from SIOS Remark "The STEP 7 V11 products will be declared phased-out products when V12 is released for delivery, but will remain available for ordering." It brings new things but also little improviments, like a new version of PID_Compact, where you can set the desired behavior to unspected situation. The devlivery release update (http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/67851956) give the highlites of the new version.
