I have just a few questions: 1-It came with TIA Portal S7 Basic V10.5. Can I upgrade through the wedsite and do I have to purchase the upgrade? 2-Does TIA Portal cover the S7-300?

Hello rmonroe, If you have a STEP 7 Basic v10.5, then you can upgrade it to STEP 7 Basic v11 (for only S7-1200). So if you need to do programming of S7-300 also then you need Powerpack to make your STEP 7 Basic v11 to STEP 7 Professional v11. Upgrade STEP 7 Basic V10.5 to STEP 7 Basic V11, Floating License - 6ES7822-0AA01-0YE0 PowerPack STEP 7 Basic V11 to STEP 7 Prof. V11, Floating License - 6ES7822-1AA01-0YC5 Also Check this for easy understanding.
