I am currently facing an issue with the totalizer reading difference between my Siemens S7-1200 PLC and Siemens MAG 5000 Flowmeter. The flow rate displayed on the PLC matches the field flowmeter, but the totalizer readings are different.

To help diagnose the issue, I have attached the zip file which contains:

• A picture of both the flowmeter and PLC readings
• A screenshot of my PLC code

I would really appreciate your guidance on what step I might be missing. Could it be related to scaling, data type conversion, update frequency, or any specific configuration in the PLC?

If you take your flow rate via analog why you not take from flow meter via discrete output and counting pulses?

Flow meter has 2 totalizers maybe another show your value?

No, this is the first time I am using this counting totalizer.

Please guide me on whether it is possible to use both digital and analog outputs at the same time.

If yes, kindly provide details on the terminal or pin configuration required for this setup.

It seems your analog connected to 31-32 pins to get actual flow, we will use 56-57 pins for passive output to get pulses : put 24VDC to 56 and from 57 join to discrete input to your PLC.

In MAG5000 change discrete output parameter to pulse, volume/pulse...

And then MAG5000 will do pulses exatly as flow is going

if you use the digital pulses, also take into the consideration the pulse width, if these are mechanical inputs they may not detect 0-->1 transitions on small (faster) pulses.
