TP1200 Comfort V11 Slider help...

PLCDave Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello all....I am currently working on a project where I need to generate an analog command to a field device and I would like to do that by using a slider (Horizontal)on the HMI screen that has a direct connection to my s7-1214 PLC. I only see vertical sliders so I was wondering if it is possible to create your own slider out of an object...say a circle that can be moved in a linear motion and give it a scale of 0-100...???? Any help with this would greatly be appreciated... Thanks

Any help with this would greatly be appreciated... Thanks As tweety said, you can create your own simulation of a slider. I noticed the basic panel allowed me to display a readout horizontally, so the combination of a horiz readout, some buttons for incr/decr // big incr // big decr, (<<, <, >, >>), you can make that circle animate back and forth a bit. You can also display the current value with an IO field which would also allow direct value entry / readout to speed up the changes. I added this feature to a basic panel and the users were very happy as they know within a very small range what the starting value will be for each situation. The circle 'animation' is nice, but with the graduated readout placed horizontally combined with the actual value, the circle is not really necessary.
