Hello no_nickname, Have you seen this faq: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23802404 When you are using a PC-adapter, you cannot connect direct to panel. Because PC-adapter needs power from panel. You can try to use a PC-adapter connected to CPU-port and download to panel. (but like in faq mentioned, it's not supported) Best regards, Wizard |

Hi, with a COM interface AND an RS232/MPI it will every time be luck if its work, thats one of the reasons this cable is not released for download a project to a panel.. Correct is the panel doesnt give enough power to run the Adapter. Serial in this case means RS232(USB)/PPI - Cable, see also http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19109408 regards Aranel |
