TP277 alarm log - message text is missing

(TIA Portal V11 SP2 Updt 5) The logging works, except that the message text is not saved, even though I checked "Log event text and error location" in the Settings. Any idea? Somebody told me to try to change the Logging language in the Runtime settingsfrom "Startup language"to an explicit language. I was not on-site since then, so I could not try this.
