This seems to me a known problem

Can you provide exact type number of the panel including HW and SW version.

Which version of TIA are you using for configurating the panel? Including service pack and hotfixes.

Certain combinations can cause the panel to stop booting.

Solutions are:

Upgrading to newer TIA version;

Upgrading or downgrading the OS version of the panel.

Hello,

The OS and the working project are not loaded on the TP700 Comfort operator panel (6AV2 124-0GC01-0AX0).

When the power is turned on, the panel displays the initial screen with the inscription "SIMATIC HMI", runs through several squares meaning the download, that's all.

The operating system does not load. The panel was working with a working project, stood on the site, worked for more than 2 years.

With the panel no action was taken, the picture was lost, and no longer loaded.

I tried to boot the OS via TIA Portal and through Simatic ProSave. I tried various interfaces MPI / Profibus DP, Ethernet, USB. When trying to find the panel, the messages "No accessible device found in selected network" and "Scan completed. 0 compatible device of 0 accessible devices found ".

Many users of Comfort Panels seem to be facing this problem.

I also hear from some users that Support Request Team "Unofficially" told them that is is not possible to do a Factory reset for Comfort panels in this condition.

Has anyone been successfully been able to do an OS Update on a Comfort Panel using the "MAC Address" option ? If, yes, please share your experience for the benefit of other users.

Has anybody found any solution for this problem: I have 2 pcs of TP900 comfort panels with the same problems.

Tried everything to rescue. No help.

Is there any way to make factory reset???
