TP700 to backup whole DB?

Hello,

think you it is possible to save a huge DB from PLC to SD card over HMI TP700 ?

It is a project with many and many parameters. Configuration DB has over 36 000 INT's and customer would like to backup this to configuration file on SD card. It does not matter on speed.

Is there any right way how to do it?

In past when I had to backup about 500 parameters I had a Array of int. In script I copied this TAG into the script's variable array and saved it to CSV file with semicolons. And when I was restoring DB I read the CSV data into internal script array and then copied it into the TAG. But it was WinCC Flexible Runtime and now I need Comfort Panel, SD card and much larger DB.

Is there any idea how to do it?

how many elements do you use in the PLC array?
Did this Array use only int tags?

If you use a big data structure you should use symbolic address multiplexing.

WinCC comfort you can also write a vbs script to export your data through a csv file.
