Transfering parameter from old G120C to new G120C

rioalfandy00 Joined: 1/31/2023 Last visit: 11/4/2024 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone. I have a project to replacing old G120C 6SL3210-1KE21-3UF1 with the new one. The new G120C is same with the old G120C but different firmware. The old one is 4.7.10 and the new one is 4.7.13. When i upload with start drive and download into the new G120C, it show warning "Profinet : No Cyclic connection" I've checked the cable, IP address, subnet mask and gateway is same but it can't communicate with the PLC. You can up-/downgrade the firmware costfree on any SINAMICS G120 with a normal SD-card. For example here FW V4.7 SP10: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109756820 Kindly Sina

Hati Platinum Member Joined: 9/21/2012 Last visit: 11/15/2024 Posts: 4199 Rating: (474)	After you have uploaded the parameters from the old G120C, then change the device to the same order number, and select the correct firmware, to match the new drive. Then you need to assing the IP address and Profinet name to the device and after that you can download the parameters to the new drive.
