I am trying to automate the process of (tedious) hardware configuration in TIA Portal v17 with the help of TIA Openness APIs & Python provided an Excel with the hardware configurations Ex. BMK Name, IP Address or Hardware Address etc. Is there anyone doing something similar or succeeded in achieving that goal, Please let me know, I have questions regarding how to do Topology Connections, how to set 'I' & 'Q' Address including Hardware addresses of the devices. For example, I am setting the IP Address of CPU like: n_interfaces[i-6].Nodes[0].SetAttribute('Address','192.168.0.1') where 'n_interfaces[i-6].Nodes[0]' is the CPU network interface. Likewise, 1. I want to know how to set the Input (I) & Output (Q) Address of profinet devices (Ex. IM Module ET200SPs) 2. Also, I want to know how to set the hardware address of profinet devices (ex. Danfoss FCs or Valve Manifolds) 3. How to build the Topology Connections (Port to Port Connections) After figuring out all these above things, I am planning to optimize my attached python code (openness.py) Please help me I am quite new to this TIA Openness APIs and related topics. Also, there are lot of helplines only for C# TIA Openness projects, not for Python TIA Openness Projects which is sad :(. I believe with Python Pandas Library and Excel, a lot of tiresome tasks could be automated in TIA v17. I would be grateful for each tips and guidelines, Thank you very much in advance! Closed cause question posted twice. The second thread with the subject how to do port to port connections using TIA Openness API & Python? is published within the conference STEP 7 (TIA Portal). Best regards, |
