undefined caracter from AS

aarb Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear ALL I,ve got 3 independent machines each one is equipped with: 1st machine 135U CPU. 2nd machine 135U CPU. 3rd machine 95U CPU. 1 DOS computer were STEP5 V6. and were DOS6 installed. I can go online with ALL CPUs without any problem. On windows XP PC service pack 1 I’ve install STEP5 V7.2 from CD (No problem during installation ) Communication with U95 CPU is OK Communication with U135 CPU is NOT ok Undefined characters from AS I use s5as511.exe from: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/11870684?pnid=14395&lc=en-WW Communication with U95 CPU is OK Communication with U135 CPU is NOT ok Undefined characters from AS I reinstall the STEP5 V7.2 again I update it to V7.23 from: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/18177672?lc=de-WW Communication with U95 CPU is OK Communication with U135 CPU is NOT ok Undefined characters from AS I install the s5as511.exe from: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/11870684?pnid=14395&lc=en-WW Communication with U95 CPU is OK Communication with U135 CPU is NOT ok Undefined characters from AS can you help me to solve this problem aarb

aarb Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	thanks munir i got original CD of step5 with a licence key 00?0?062?3 , i've already introduce this key diring installation. another thing that in this CD i can install step5 V7.2 on windows or in DOS machine, i test also by installing it on a new DOS7.1 PC and i got the same problem. i will test on Win XP service pack2. aarb

mmkhan Bronze Member Joined: 9/28/2007 Last visit: 2/20/2024 Posts: 234 Rating: (12)	dear aarb this is the key only for during installation. u have to transfer separately by using SIEMENS ORIGNAL YELLOW FLOPPY. when u run automation license manger it search ur license file on c:\AX NF ZZ folder this is siemens license key location. do this then inform me.
