Upgrade from CFC 8.0 to CFC8.2 "Generate module drivers" error

I restored the project at: PCS 7 8.0, with CFC 8.2+SP1. after conversion and Full compilation of charts, I get zillion "Generate module drivers" errors, all of the same kind, here is one: E: Object HART Field Device could not be processed completely. E: The value for variable PDMSETASSET for object Default in file 08000000\AL_DPNORM.xml / PDMDIAG8 could not be read. I guess it has something to do with my verision of HW, or PDM tool, or some components missing, but I cannot figure out what precisely. The project is normally compiled every time, at original location and version. Can someone share with me, what to upgrade, or what to install additionally?

Assuming above is not the problem: Is it new PC or upgraded PC for the ES? If you haven't migrated the blocks to PCS7 8.2 library then you must install the 8.0 library back after installing PCS7 8.2. Or you can migrate the blocks according to the upgrade with new functionality procedure.

Hi, you might be right, since I truly have this combination: I updated CFC to 8.2 with official update, and haven't noticed any incompatibility problems so far, except for this migration question. The only thing I have upgraded (as far as project concerns) is the automatic conversion of CFC blocks. In the other words, first time I open the project and try to compile, CFC is giving me a notice about the versions, and asking if I wan't to do a conversion. Conversion is OK. After conversion, compilation is also OK in case I un-check "Gen. module drivers". Can I have a hint how to update the library? Is it the process from this document? Process Control System PCS 7 Software update with utilization of new functions

I belive you were on the right track in the other part: from your answer I'm still not sure if you have PCS7 V8.0 SP2 and CFC 8.2 SP1 installed now or PCS7 V8.2 and CFC 8.2 SP1. If your actual installation is PCS7 V8.0 SP2 and CFC 8.2 I fear that this was not a good idea, as this combo is really incompatible. You can check it here with the Compatibility Tool. So, hopefully you created a backup from the ES and from the project before you did the update... Best regards...
