Upgrade to Windows 7

Hi,

We have a SIMATIC Field PG M3 that came preloaded with Windows XP Pro for embedded systems. we need to update it to Windows 7 because the TIA Portal V14 Professional requires it.What are the steps to upgrade the computer? Do we buy a hard drive with the Windows 7 preinstalled from Siemens or is it a download?

So you can't get the Windows 7 from Siemens, you must buy Windows 7 + key from some other distributor.

I already have a licensed copy of windows 7, but I need the drivers for the laptop. I switched the hard drive to preserve the original configuration and did a clean install on a new drive but I can't find windows 7 drivers anywhere for this laptop

to get the drivers you must open a support request then you get the download link for the driver cd.
