Use same UI for two different databases

Create a UDT with the DB structure.

Create a DB to hold ALL DB structures in an ARRAY [0..n] of DB_UDT

Now you can access them via array index which you can assign to a tag, and then reassign the value of the tag as required to change which array index is needed.

And, to go one step further, create user constants for the index values that put context and meaning to the user constants, like "Valve_Open = 0", "Valve_Close = 1".

Hi,

I have built an UI (WinCC) for a specific device and I did connect a lot of variables from the database of the device function block to the UI. Now I have an additional device, which is the same and I want to use the UI again for this second device.

How can I use 2 times the same UI, without manually rewiring all UI elements to the new database of the second device? Is there a quick way to redirect all links from an interface to a different database block that is otherwise completely identical to the first database block?
