simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	dear friend, u have to set communication parameters only in protool. u have to use mpi protocol with plc address=2 and dont forget the slot entry = 2 it will definately work. regds vivek

The Body Gold Member Joined: 5/13/2008 Last visit: 12/18/2019 Posts: 836 Rating: (71)	In addition to the link above the settings in the pg/pc-interface should be set to 'S7Online (STEP7) --> PLCSIM(MPI)' if you use the latest version of PLCSim. Check also your controller settings in ProTool: - don't activate the check-box 'off-line' - go to parameters and set the correct values of the communication peer and the network parameters: address:2, profile:MPI
