Yes I see that in the readme the TF-driver is not support any more, that is not so bad as the SOFTNET driver, the TF driver is also not supported by S7 anymore, only I&S have a driver that could simulate the TF-driver under S7. Thank you for this correction. I have installed the SIMATIC NET 2007 CD under VISTA, that one is working directly without any messages. There is a new component (also for XP) where the S7-connections could be checked with, a nice new component for SIMATIC NET.

Also the FM352/452 package is given free for upgrading to VISTA Configuration Package for Cam Control FM 352 FM 452 V6.0 And SINEMA E is now also given free with version SINEMA E 2006 + SP2.... Service Pack 2 for SINEMA E 2006 Released for Delivery That have the advantage under VISTA that you didn't need a external card like the CP 7515, there is a new driver built in the package for site surveys. Changes of the Site-Survey function (measuring of WLANs) Any WLAN card that runs under Windows Vista can also be used for the SINEMA E "Advanced Mode". Special Site-Survey drivers as required for Windows XP are no longer necessary. Site-Survey measurements, e.g. with the CP7515, can now also be scaled and represented for other clients (e.g. SCALANCE W, Mobil Panel Wireless). The position of Site-Survey measurements can subsequently be modified for correction purposes. In "Continious Mode" the path can now be determined at ease before the measurement is performed. SINEMA stands for SIEMENS Network Management and is a tool where a site from a picture could be simulated for Wireless Lan, all SCALANCE W equipment and also the new Wireless Panel are integrated. Also the next package is given free and is installed by me, it works fine. ET 200S 1SI Serial Interface Function Blocks, Examples and User Manuals for the ET200S 1SI Serial Interface DS V5.4 SP4 is still not downloadable.... maybe next week.

The installation was without trouble and no errors are reported. The S7 F Configurationpack was also new V5.5 SP4 and have the new F-AI 6 x 0/4..20mA even with HART when necesary.... So there is now a Failsafe HART module... After some configuration of the new F-AI behind the F-CPU, a 4/8 F-DI + 4 F-DI/3 F-DO + 4 F-DO + 4 * 1F-RO in a Profinet IM151-3 PN/HF, a 4 F-DO in a Profibus IM151-1BA02 DP/HF and the programming of the Run Time Group with a call in OB35 and some programming of the Failsafe I/O it was very nice to see that it works without any error and faster then in Windows XP.... So this test was also ok....

Hi Schlumpf, Because S7 Graph V5.3 SP5 is higher then the one I have tested it is automatically given free... *I'm afraid that packages that are not in the actif catalog anymore won't be given free on VISTA....*

If it is the last then your tests are more like testing office 2007 on Vista. I think testing software like ProTool and STEP5 is more of a challenge then testing Vista compatible software. Too bad I can't test it myself yet.
