Hi I am using Siemens V20, 2HP drive. I want to use the DO2 for showing the powered on and off status. On doing all the connections, I realize that DO2 works properly if there is no load connected and does not work properly when the load is connected. With output load connected, NC does not switch to NO. I have connected 220V to DO2 Common. And two LED's each at NO and NC. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hmm, that's a very interesting problem to understand. Let's see if I understand correctly. 220V (AC I have to assume) connected to an LED to a DC common (not AC neutral - again, assumption). What could go wrong. Actually, what could go right? Placing 24VDC on the Common contact, then properly sized resistor networks for each LED on the NO/NC contact terminals to limit current to the LEDs (dropping enough voltage) so the LEDs do not immediately fail on overcurrent might serve your power on/off visualization requirements.
