Web Navigator User Management

ginapie Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi. We just had our PCS7 installed with Web Navigator, for concurrent access of 3 users. Is there a interface/window in this particular application that we can manage users defined for access of the web? Since we only have 3 concurrent license for optimal usage, we would like to have a way to restrict a certain user of using a license for too long, in case another priority user needs access to the web. If not, can u suggest of a work around to address this user management?? Appreciate any input. Thanks, Gina

Dec Gold Expert Joined: 5/19/2006 Last visit: 10/23/2024 Posts: 549 Rating: (107)	Hi Gina, I assume you have the "PCS7" version of WebNavigator - PCS7 Web Server [:o] Onmy test machines the feature Automatic Logout for Web Navigator users doesn't seems to workon either idle or absolute time for web clients[:cry:] One quick thing you can do is to check who is connected and [:mad:] <WebNavigator-URL>/bin/WinCCWebBridge.dll?STATUS I am looking into this and at least it might be a work-aroundin IISor Windows security policies Dec P.S. I know somebody who might advice you to buy more licenses [:P]
