I have to make a plaicação with S7-1200, I will use them to generate reports via the web page. such a person can access the IP and see a report of it, quall model would be needed for this so I will use the CPU and Expansion of an analog input to analog 4 points, and cable to program it can be the same as the S7-200? See a example in : Sample program: S7-1200 and DATA LOG https://www.automation.siemens.com/BR/tf/WW/en/Posts/57715#top To get the report, the customer would to access the S7-1200 with a browser (e.g Internet Explores) and download the CSV archive. You can use Ethernet network to program and access PLC data. It is very popular.

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 11/14/2024 Posts: 4352 Rating: (1452)	Hi, there is no cable necessary to connect the CPU to the expansion modules. To connect a PC to S7-1200 I suggest you use Ethernet cables. If possible, use a cable conform industrial everioment.

But help me on something else, I use the 1211 CPU model: 6ES7-211-1HD30 0XB0 it has two analog inputs that I use and I use it as he said to a data loger, and free internet access with IP for users, this cpu behave correct this application? In summary, the CPU 6ES7-211-1HD30 0XB0 the project involves data loger pay for web access...

S7-200, for example, needs a external specific program (PC Access) and PC/PPI cable to read the log. S7-1200 doesn't. You need just a Ethernet cable and a Internet Explorer (that comes with Windows).
