I have a CPU connected to 4 Remote IO each controlling 4 different set of equipments 

Remote module 1 has Motor 1

Remote module2 has motor 2 and motor 3

Remote module 3 has motor 4

and remote module 4 has 3 valves and Two tanks level monitoring

If they want to work on MCC where Motor 1 is located they will turn off power to the Remote module 1 

in that case will the rest of the equipments still keep working normal

When one Remote IO device loses power, it will be recognized by CPU.

And it depends how you programmed your CPU. It might go to STOP. Or it might work, but with errors.
