What is the difference between READ_CLK() and LOC_TIME()

Hi HarrY ji, The LOC_TIME calculates in addition the local time difference since the controller is using UTC time. The block has an additional output called SUMMER to indicate summer/winter time. |

Hlello HarriY; To complete Oreca's answer, here is a document explaining the LOC_Time function, showing how it is implemented in PCS 7: How can you determine the local time in the controller (PLC) in PCS 7 V6.0 and higher? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/19957112 READ_CLK outputs the time as it is registered in the CPU's realtime clock, without adjustments for local time.
