WinCC Alarm Control

nandgate Posts: 319 Rating: (9)	Dear Experts, In WinCC Alarm control can i print alarms with in a specific time period (Like for example, Enter start time and end time, the alarms that get logged in that time period should get printed ). Also is there any way i can automatically print a report after a specific time interval ( Say after every 8 hours the report should get printed ( all the data logged in that 8 hours should get printed)). In that VB script, set object as WinCC Alarm Control & then you can write values of start time & end time in the properties of WinCC Alarm control. You can print report after every 8 hours iether using wincc report or u can print the report in excel file using VB script. For reports after every 8 hours duration, you have to select cyclic trigger option & using that you can take reports.

In order to have print every 8 hours for that you could use action script that is triggered every 8 hours. You should also take a look at report builder and check what kind of reports there are and if there is some that are good for you. Reports print automatically.
