But any way, 2 seconds is not a big deal if we are talking abour process automation. For machine automation applications, time is measured by micro-seconds. Hello Ayman, This is my personal experience in one of the my projects. Some automation application are fast and some of them are slow. I'm agree with you in this case. But at this time, it may be lose some of the momentary signals. Regards, MRG

And about loosing some momentry signals, really in process automation is is not an issue. Do not worry about it. But in Machine automation, you may change the complete solution because of this switchover time. And please note that in Process autolation, if you should go for S7-400H and you have SINAMICS drive connected to the system via profibus, then you have to use Y-Link. There is no other solution.
