Zeroing Function for the Siwarex U from Step 7

Fazza Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi Siwarexi, We have a number of Siwarex weighing modules on site which are connected on the site network using profibus, sometimes we need to rezero the modules but this means we have to get out the laptop find the lead connect the lead to 3,4,5 terminals on the Siwarex unit and then open siwarex U and zero from there. My question is can we use Simatic Manager to do this from our dedicated PC programming node which is for Engineering use only in our control room? Cheers Iain

To explain to you the Step 7 program, I need to know more information: 1. Which order-numbers do your Siwarex U modules have (7MH4601-... or 7MH4950-...)? 2. Which kind of “Communication Type” are you using (SFC, SFB, FB or I/O communication)? You can find that parameter into the “Properties”, index card “Basic Parameters”, of the Siwarex U module into the HW Config. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards Siwarexi
