access path forcp5511 is mising

coil Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I have PC Notebook NEC Versa FM300(Windows XP Professional version 2002 SP2 v.2096)with CP5511 com card in PCMCIA slot. I have STEP 7 ver.5.3and I have a problem. There is CP5511 installed in SIMATIC Manager - Set PG/PC - Install/RemoveInterfaces right window but there is no CP5511 in Access Path Window and I cant select access path for it. There is no access path, there is no PC-PLC communication. I have a lot of work to do. Please help me. Coil

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello Coil, I would try to uninstall the HW from the Hardware manager of Microsoft Windows, than unplug the Card, reboot and plug the card again, this might solve the Problem. As you have STEP 7 V 5.3 I would recommend an Update to V 5.3 SP 3. Best regards J_Bell
