Field PG M5 TPM firmware downgrade

Hello,

I'm using a PG M5 that has TPM chip 2.0. But in our corporate system Bitlocker doesn't support TPM chip 2.0 only 1.2. Is it possible to downgrade the firmware version of the TPM chip from 2.0 to 1.2?

I know that on other systems it is possible to downgrade the TPM chip, but I didn't find anything about this in connection with PG.

I am sorry, but TPM in the Field PG is, and always has been, a hardware chip on the main board. Thus it is not possible to downgrade a hardware encrypted V2.0 chip.

Other systems might have a weaker, less safe solution in software. Here you could possibly downgrade to TPM V1.2.
