What`s the function of the debug monitor diagnostics?

Can some experts supply the operation instruction of the debug monitor diagnostics. I got one information from one document. It is that I can get this operation instruction from the user manual General service IBS 4.0. But I can not get it from any place where I can reach. So, I hope I can get it from you if it is possible. Thank you very much!

This link from the Siemens support site allows you to download IBS-tool v. 5.0.1, and the download includes a user manual. I hope it will provide information you require. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8806155 If not, use the Show Entry List link at the top of that screen and it will take you to the D7-SyS support pages; these include all the manuals , FAQs, downloads available for this Siemens product. The debug monitor (also called hex monitor) is a tool for the developpers to read out data from the CPU or start some internal functions. Most functions have no sens for normal userer (like read or whrite direct to/from memory), other informations can be more easier accessed by FBs (like SYF1, SYF4 or PSL) Sometimes the customer support may ask to use this tools, to get additional informations. In this case they will give you information how to start it an what to enter.
