Issues with exporting WinCC archive data (OLE DB Provider)

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to export some archive data to further analyse, following this procedure, however I'm not being able to go through with it.

I'm running WinCC Professional v15.1 upd5 and SQL Server Management Studio v20.1. I am able to get until the point 4.8 of the procedure, after which either of the options reports this error

Is it possible that there's a problem with the installation of the OLE DB Provider?

These are the properties I fill for the data source.

It is also highly possible that I am making a very basic mistake, but I can´t see what could it be. I'd appreciate any help on this matter

Well, turns out I didn´t really know what I was doing and that caused all these issues.
I was trying to access a backup segment DB directly when I should have been going to the main DB for the application. I was also having trouble with the syntax and with some symbols that changed when copied from the browser to the VM (dots instead of commas, etc...). It is working fine now

I do have some open questions that I will try to explore, but if someone wants to chime in, it would be welcome:

• Do I need to connect all the backups to the application via the Connect Backup button in order to access old data, or is there a way to access the backup directly from the SSMS?
