Access to Drive via ethernet

mumbles Posts: 160 Rating: (16)	Does anyone know of a way to access a drive, Sinamics, MasterDrive or DC Master via ethernet using Starter or DrioveMonitor. The drive will be connected to a 3rd party PLC via Profibus. I am aware that if the PLC was a S7 then routing with DriveES would be a possibility but unfortunately this is not the case. Does anyone know of a gateway unit that could be used to access the Profibus network via ethernet while using DriveES. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Anchobi Posts: 139 Rating: (25)	I am not certain this will work but a IE/PB Link PNIO module supports S7 routing, as this is the routing function a PN/DP CPU provides it is possible that this gateway will work for you.
