Hello, First of all, I think you are talking about MCCBs " Molded Case Circuit Breakers" and not the MCBs "Minature Circuit Breakers". Normally MCCBs have 3 position for its toggle handle. ON, OFF and Tripped. As per the attached picture you can see it clearlly. Normally, The handle goes to Tripped position when an overload is applied, short circuit, or when testing tripping function by pressing the smalltrip button.Also it goes to trip position when energizing the shunt relese.In this cases, you have to move the handle to OFF position before moving again to ON. Hello dealova, such a behaviour is not known at the Siemens quality department. That happens with the older ('80) and the newer ('90) MCBs in 2 different places, high humidity. |
