STARTER Commissioning software

Benjamin.Owen.89 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am working on a project using an S7-300 PLC and a S110 servo drive, I am aware that I need to used the STARTER commissioning tool andI have found the place to download the files to install the software. For reference that loacation is: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=26233208&caller=view I have downloaded the 3 ZIP files, just the question is how do I install the actual software? I am unsure of which install application to use, whether to unzip all the files first and put them in one location and run one install package????? Some guidance would be very much apprieciated. Please ensure that no blanks are included in the entire path name of this target directory. After unpacking the ZIP files, the shared directory must look as follows: \...\SharedDirectory\01_Readme\ \...\SharedDirectory\CD_1\ \...\SharedDirectory\CD_2\ \...\SharedDirectory\CD_3\ \...\SharedDirectory\SSP_INT_CD1\ \...\SharedDirectory\SSP_CD1\ \...\SharedDirectory\Unsupported Tools\ Start the STARTER setup program by calling it up from /CD_1/SETUP.EXE. The Readme file contains important notes on how to use the tool. So unpack all files in same (new) directory, best to make a new map on the root, then goto that directory--- open CD1 map and run the setup. exe that you find there. Regards, Marcjan
