Win cc rt advanced and CPU 315F only connects to simulator

Ruurd Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I made a simple test project for a S7-300 PLC in TIA portal. (CPU315F). I0.0 = Q0.0 thats all. I installed WINCC RT Advanced and made a simple screen. With only 1 pilot light to test the connection before a go ahead on the project. When I start up the PLC simulator and the WINCC runtime it works perfectly. The pilot light lights up when I switch on input 0.0. The pilot light is configured to switch on when q0.0 is switched on. ( external tag) Then i load the PLC program to the PLC using the ethernet cable. Now I start the WinCC RT runtime but the light does't light up. It looks like there is no connection?? When I startup the simulator it directly connects. It looks like the Runtime is looking for the simulator?? I configured the IP address of the PLC to be 192.168.0.1 and my PC 192.168.0.5. and made the HMI connection like it's stated in the manual. Anyone an idea?? Attachment TIA portal.jpg (508 Downloads)

Ruurd Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Thanks for your response. I use a standard PC with wincc Comfort/Advanced. Besides that I installed the runtime software. Winncc Runtime Advanced. In the connection and devices I select the IE general network card. I will check if there are any alarms in the status/alarm window later. Attached the network connection overview. I tried for hours and hours connecting to the PLC but only the PLCSIM is working?? Attachment Connection view.jpg (526 Downloads)

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello, Do you set the rigth Ethernet interface in your PC/PG interface? You do not use "TCP/IP(Auto)". See the chapter 3. How do you configure a connection between WinCC flexible Runtime (PC or Panel) and a SIMATIC S7-300 / S7-400 via Industrial Ethernet? Tweety

Ruurd Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Now I see what they mean with PG/PC interface. I thought they ment the network adapter settings. Never saw the extra icon that was created in the control panel that is called PG/PC interface.... The manual you linked to is for WINCC flexible. It looks different but the settings are almost the same. When i'm back @ the PLC i will try this out directly! I think it will be the solution!
