Requesting some help with analog scaling on a wind anemometer. Here is the link to what I am working with:https://www.adafruit.com/product/1733 Feeding anemometer with same 12 VDC as LOGO! Output Voltage range of anemometer: 0.4V = 0 m/s wind speed 2.0V = 32.4m/s wind speed LOGO! module is 8.FS4_2 (12/24RCE) Would love if it scaled to MPH since I am in Washington State and we have not adopted the metric standard ‘yet’ . I calculated 32.4 m/s to 72 MPH. Does not need to be exact. Application is for the awning on my RV. If the wind blows – say over 15 MPH (adjustable) - I want my LOGO! program to close my awning so it does not damage itself or my RV. I am playing around with some other fun things to control on the RV but got stuck with the scaling of this and thought I would reach out to some experts for the analog scaling help. Thanks in advance! Cheers, Darren |

You didn't choose anything good to use a LOGO! to process further. The anemometer itself also has a large fault tolerance, in the worst case ± 1m / s. With a measuring range of 32.4 m/s this is ± 3%. For the closing signal to the awning you not only need a response value (in your case 15 MPH), also a value when it will be released again. I made you an example. Try it..... Thank you for the compliment. Fundamentals of analog inputs: 0.4 V = 0.0 m/s 32.4 m/s * 3600 = 116.640 m/h = 116.64 km/h 1 km h = 0.621371 MPH 0.4 V = 40 units 200 units - 40 units = 160 units 72.48 MPH: 160 units = 0.453 MPH per unit For learning you Show as follow web sites from Siemens: Easy Entry in LOGO! and SIMATIC S7-1200 LOGO!
