I am back with a shiny new wind anemometer. This one outputs 4-20mA instead of the other one with a crazy output. Here is a link to it on Amazon:https://amzn.to/2FBXgUO Model: YGC-FS-KV-A1 Power Supply: 9-36v dc Output: 4-20mA Measuring Range: 0-45 m/s Accuracy: +/- (0.4 + 0.03V) m/s Resolution: 0.1 m/s Starting wind speed:<0.5m/s I did not read the LOGO! spec before I bought this one, but it would appear that the base LOGO! can only accept 0-10V and not 4-20mA. Is this correct? Is there a way to do some tricky wiring to satisfy the LOGO! LOGO! module is 8.FS4_2 (12/24RCE) Just in case the LOGO! base cannot read the 4-20mA I have a LOGO! AM2 on the way (PN: 6ED1 055-1MA00-0BA2). It is for another project but can test it on this one. I am requesting some assistance in wiring this up (whether to the I7/A1 terminal on the base LOGO! or to the AM2 expansion module. 3 Wires: Red = Vcc (12v from LOGO! power source) Black = 0v Yellow = Signal Bonus would be a quick program to show how to scale it into MPH and select the wind speed to close the awning – default 15 MPH. ixo65 has been a tremendous help to me on my previous attempts at this program but still have questions on the Analog match scaling part. Not all LOGO! base modules have analog inputs. If you want to use the resistor, one connection of the resistor must be connected to the output of the sensor, the other connection of the resistor must be connected to 0V of the voltage voltage of the sensor. I am having a hellova’ time finding a 500 Ω ½ watt resistor, but I can find a 470 & 510 Ω ½ watt resistor. If I go with the 510 Ω will that be okay? I found these on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2NhqqNj |
