I'm trying to update the firmware and OS for my IOT2050 Advanced (6ES7647-0BA00-1YA2) FS:02.

I'm trying to run the IOT2050_Example_Image_V1.1.1, but this does not seem to boot and keeps getting stuck.

Where can I get a copy of IOT2050_Example_Image_V1.2.2, as there are notes I must use this version to update the firmware?

I have two IOT2050 Advanced (6ES7 647-0BA00-1YA2), FS:02. fw_version=2019.01-V01.00.00.2-0-g8e86139.

I have corrected the boot order after installing the /etc/fw_env.config file. But I still cannot get the example image V1.1.1 to finish posting. I can get the same boot sequences result as these two threads: problems-booting-image-v1-1-1 iot2050-bricked

It looks like a known problem. One resolved it using Example Image V1.0.2.

So I have started trying to build V1.0.2 following this guide how-to-build-github-example-image, but 4 tasks are failing.

I decided to update the firmware with the shipped OS and not use the example image.

Modified the /etc/os-release file to use BUILD_ID="V01.02.02-0-g883c59c" and followed the standard instructions for firmware installation.

Once completed, I could install Industrial OS V3.2.3 with the service stick.
