Just had to spend a while sorting I/O the wiring loom of a Logo8 (8 in 4 out) and connected I/O module (8 in and 8 out). In my wiring loom there was an error and Logo system wasn't behaving as expected. So I wrote the following test program: - Select which I/O (1 to 16 in my case) is to be displayed, using the ESC + up/down cursor keys. I/O number, input state and output state is shown on the display. - Setting the corresponding input high toggles the corresponding output, also shown on the display. - Pressing ESC + right/left cursor keys turns the output on or off, also shown on the display. Make sure your system is in a "safe mode" before playing with this program. This enabled me to quick locate inputs 10 & 11 were swapped. In fact due to the fact the wireman had run out of "1" labels so he labeled wire 10 -> 10 and wire 11 -> 0. But the "1" from the "10" had fallen off, leaving him with two wires labelled "0". So he just wired them in hoping no one would notice and 50% chance of getting it right... So someone else might find this program useful. AttachmentController Test 1.1.lsc.zip (238 Downloads) |
