How to get number of events

Every event in WinCC has Alarm class and Alarm group. I have created classes - _Alarms, _Warnings, _Other. And groups, for example, - Pumps, Valves, Compressors and so on. And I need to calculate number of events every time as it (number) has changed. Herewith I need number of Alarms in Pumps group, Warnings in Pumps group, Alarms in Valves group and so on. To decide this issue I need: 1. Some system event or flag which will change his state as soon as changed (increased, decreased, acknowledged) number of events in a system and will start some script which will 2. Set filters by classes and groups and calculate number of appropriate events. What system flag do I use and how can filter events to this end?
