Hi

I have a project with a logo and ktp400 in which I'm sending a value from the HMI to a analog amplifier block in the logo.

I'm using this value as a setpoint. For fallback is there a way to have either the logo or HMI hold the value or reset to a default in the event of a power cycle?

It is possible to store values with a small trick. You actually don’t store it in the HMI, but in the logo itself. You have to write it to a virtual DB. I’ll look for an overview of the adresses and will post it later this day. Just look at the range of the adresses and choose an unused one. As long as the Logo has its source power this will work, the HMI can be switched on/off without the loss of this data.

I think it is quiet the same way as Ixo mentioned. But in this case there is no programming necesarry.

Program in the HMI an IO-field and use a tag (e.g. VW50). As long as the Logo doesn't use it!
